What are the Terms of Use for Tilde's voice synthesiser?
These Rules are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia.
The management of your personal data is governed by these Terms, the Law on the Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Latvia and other legislation.
The security of your data is important to Tilde, therefore the data you enter is confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties. The stored data may be used to improve the service provided. This process is mechanical, so the use of the data does not allow you to be identified either directly or indirectly.
We will not pass on your personal data to third parties without your specific consent, except in the cases provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Latvia.
You represent and warrant that you have the necessary authority to submit content to the Voice Synthesiser and that submission does not violate any laws protecting intellectual property rights.
The Voice Synthesis Service is provided for non-commercial purposes to gain insight into solution options. Commercial use or incorporation into other solutions is not permitted without the consent of Tilde Ltd.
The Voice Synthesis Service may not be used to process texts containing offensive, obscene, defamatory, misleading, hateful or discriminatory statements or threats, to prepare for transmission or distribution communications disguising one’s identity, to prepare communications that may be offensive to a group of persons or to an individual person, or to engage in any unlawful or unethical activity.
The use of the Voice Synthesis Service contrary to these terms shall constitute damage to Tilde Ltd. and shall entitle Tilde Ltd. to damages. If the use of the service violates the provisions of the law, the legal liability shall apply.
Disputes that may arise in the performance of these Terms shall be settled by negotiation. If disputes cannot be resolved by negotiation, they shall be settled in accordance with the procedure established by the laws of the Republic of Latvia.
